FAQS

What’s the initial setup like?

Setup is quick and easy! Just enter your team’s name, pick a team color, and add at least one player to your roster. For the best experience, we recommend adding your full roster so each player’s name is ready to go on game day—making it even easier to track plays and stats in real time. Once your team is saved, you’re all set to start tracking with SoccerGameLog!

Can I track multiple teams?

Absolutely! You can set up and save as many teams as you like, making it simple to switch between different rosters and track every team’s stats seamlessly.

Does SoccerGameLog have ads or in-app purchases?

Nope! Once you purchase SoccerGameLog, it’s all yours—completely free of ads and in-app purchase prompts. Just focus on the game, distraction-free, season after season.

Does the app automatically track game events?

No, you’re in control! You drive the action, tapping to start the game, updating the score, and logging key moments like goals and standout plays. SoccerGameLog is designed to put you in charge of capturing what matters most.

Can I sync SoccerGameLog with others on the team?

SoccerGameLog is a single-user app, so there’s no syncing or networking involved. No need for logins or notifications—just focus on tracking the game in real time, your way!

Can I share my saved team with other SoccerGameLog users?

Not yet, but we’re working on a way to make exporting and importing saved teams easier, so sharing setups will be a breeze in the future.

Can I edit the “Opponent” team name?

Yes! You can customize the opponent’s name and color to match each game. This info isn’t saved permanently, so you can update it for each new match to keep the scoreboard accurate.

How do I edit parts of the game interface?

It’s simple! Just long-press on the game clock or scoreboard to bring up edit options. From there, you can adjust the game clock using time wheels, change the score, or choose game state presets.

Can I reset the game log and score after each game?

Yes! To clear everything after a game, save the "Pregame" preset in the game clock edit view to reset the scores and log. Alternatively, closing and reopening the app gives you a fresh start. Remember, both methods will clear all logged events.

What is the game log used for, and is it required?

You decide how much detail to add to the game log. It records the events you log with timestamps, creating a running history of the match. You can even add custom comments to capture unique moments. The log is perfect for sharing post-game summaries, analyzing player performance, or keeping a season-long diary.

Will there be updates and improvements to the app?

Yes! We’re committed to regularly updating and improving SoccerGameLog. If you have feedback, questions, or encounter a bug, feel free to reach out on Discord—we care deeply about making sure you enjoy your experience with SoccerGameLog.
